Stephen Faust is the Chief Executive Officer at Dash Solutions -- a digital payment technology solutions company headquartered in Birmingham, AL -- with more than twenty years of leadership, strategy, and revenue growth experience predominantly in financial technology (fintech).
Stephen graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2001 earning a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communications. Stephen began his career in marketing and advertising for an array of industries and well-known national brands such as Subway, Conagra Foods, The New Orleans Saints, and the Florida Medical Association's CAPS program. In 2007 Stephen joined Prepaid Technologies -- since re-branded to Dash Solutions -- to scale the business and carry out the vision of Tommy McCulley, Founder and Chairman. Stephen has accelerated revenue by 25x and led the company through phenomenal double digit revenue growth every year since 2011, over 40% every year since 2019. He was recognized by Birmingham Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40 in 2017 and then CEO of the Year in 2018. In 2021 Stephen helped complete a $96M growth equity capital raise from Edison Partners. In 2022, Stephen directed the acquisition of Workstride, a New York company, helping bolster the firm's incentive and employee recognition business. Today, Dash Solutions is a fintech leader and innovator supplying an end-to-end enterprise suite of digital payment technology solutions to employers, financial institutions, universities, and government agencies. Dash Solutions provides highly configurable payroll, rewards, expense and disbursement technology solutions and service to a largely diverse base of industries and thousands of businesses, many of which are fortune 100 companies.
Stephen was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and lives in Birmingham, AL with his wife, Ellen, and their three daughters. Stephen is passionate about his family, his employees and his community. Stephen is a continually active participant in the community as a member of Saint Luke's church, supporter of Quarterbacking Children's Health Foundation, has served on the Glenwood Junior Board, and currently serves as Secretary of The Club's Board of Directors.
