Alabama Association for Financial Professionals (AAFP), a Birmingham based not-for-profit, values the privacy of our visitors. It is our policy to collect and store only personal information that is knowingly provided to us. We do not share any type of personal information. AAFP collects and stores contact information from individuals as it is knowingly provided to us, including email addresses. Your privacy is important to us. With the exception of the information you supply for use in connection with AAFP’s online directory, your contact information and personal data will not be shared with anyone outside of AAFP except to process your credit card payment. No one except the AAFP Member and authorized personnel at AAFP can change any information regarding that member unless he/she affirmatively consents to those changes. 

You may choose at any time not to provide personally identifiable information, although this may restrict our ability to provide requested services or information.

AAFP collects email addresses from those that have requested more information. AAFP may use your email address to send you emails about AAFP events or activities. AAFP does not disclose credit card account information provided by its visitors when signing up for an event or in any other case.

Your credit card information is not retained by any information system AAFP utilizes. Credit card transactions are processed immediately by merchant services vendors that meet the highest standards in the industry. All credit card transactions are Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant.
