Summit Parking

This will direct you to the Samford Track / Soccer Stadium Parking Lot.  Once you get there, you should see a sign for the AAFP Summit Shuttle Pickup.  Parking Permit is optional. If you choose to use it, print this permit and place it on your dashboard so it is easily visible by Samford University Security.


AAFP Summit Logistics

Samford University will be hosting the AAFP Summit guests in Cooney Hall at Samford’s Brock School of Business.

Please allow a minimum of 20 minutes for shuttle transportation and check-in.

  • Check-In / Registration

        • Check-in / registration starts at 8:00 a.m.
        • It will be on the 4th Floor Regions Community Resource Room of Samford University's Cooney Hall (Brock School) of Business).  
        • Assume that check-in / registration will take 5 - 10 minutes, depending on when you arrive.

  • Breakfast 

        • Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. 
        • The AAFP Summit sessions start at 9:00 a.m.
  • Shuttle Service
The Soccer Stadium parking lot is across Lakeshore Drive. Do not go in through the main gates of the Samford Campus. This parking lot is closer to Homewood High School.

          • Although Samford University has its own shuttle for students, the Samford shuttle has a different route. AAFP contracted with Rare Transportation to provide shuttle service between the Soccer Stadium Parking Lot and Cooney Hall (Brock School of Business).

          • Once you arrive at the Business School (Cooney Hall), please proceed to the 4th Floor Regions Community Resource Room.

          • If you need to leave early, look for the board member assigned to assist with the shuttle so that he/she can call the shuttle to pick you up. Due to space limitations, the shuttle will be parked at the soccer field in between the first and last sessions. Assume it will take at least 10 minutes for the shuttle to arrive.
