Topic: Economic Outlook: An Update from the Fed

Speaker: Roisin McCord, Director, Regional Economic Information Network,
Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta


Topic Description: This presentation will give an overview of current economic conditions in the U.S. that affect businesses and consumers and inform Federal Reserve policy.

Speaker Bio: Roisin McCord is a director in the Birmingham branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. In this capacity, she supports the monetary policy process by gathering and synthesizing insights from Alabama business and community leaders to provide real-time intelligence about regional economic conditions. Roisin previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond as a Research Associate and an Associate Regional Economist in the Research Department and as a Quantitative Analyst in Supervision and Regulation. She received a BA in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame and an MA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
