Topic Description:  Join us for a 2020 Nacha Rules update session with a specific focus on the impact the update will have on Third-Parties and Originators and what they need to do to ensure compliance. Specific focus on the Supplementing Data Security Requirements, Differentiating Unauthorized Return Reason codes Rule amendments and a sneak peek at 2021 Supplementing Fraud Detection Standards for WEB Debits.

Speaker Bio:

Debbie Arai is Vice President, Third Party Services at ePayAdvisors. Debbie’s passion is helping corporates navigate the Nacha Operating Rules. She oversees Third-Party Service Provider, Third-Party Sender ACH Audits and Risk Assessments, performs Originator reviews and customized consulting for corporate participants.

Prior to joining EastPay in 2012, Debbie worked at Thurston First Bank in Olympia, Washington as the Vice President of Online Services. Debbie joined the bank shortly after the independent community bank was founded in 2004. Debbie held numerous management positions while at Thurston First Bank, including oversight of seven electronic bank product offerings. Previously, she held positions in corporate internal auditing and was the owner of a small business accounting and consulting services company. She has served as contributor on Regional Payment Association Forum Risk & Compliance Committee, recently appointed to Nacha’s Risk Management Advisory Group (RMAG) and visionary behind F.O.C.U.S (Forum of Corporate Users & Stakeholders) ePayResources corporate resource center. https://www.epayresources.org/EPayResources/Education/FOCUS/EPayResources/Education/FOCUS

In her spare time Debbie serves either as Advocacy Vice Chair for the Charlotte chapter of Women of Vision, a philanthropic organization of World Vision or playing in her garden.
