Topic Description: The liquidity environment continues to evolve making it increasingly challenging to manage liquidity positions. This session will cover the impacts of the changing rate environment, product evolution, regulatory changes and political impacts, and how to best position for success given the knowns and unknowns.
Speaker Bio:
Jason Sweatt is Liquidity and Deposits Manager responsible for the development and oversight of on and off balance sheet liquidity solutions offered to corporations, not-for-profits, and public funds for Regions Financial Corporation. Mr. Sweatt joined Regions in 2005 primarily focusing on short term fixed income liquidity products and institutional consulting. In 2009 Mr. Sweatt made the transition to the Treasury Management Liquidity and Deposits Management team. The Liquidity and Deposits team is responsible for product development and thought leadership in the liquidity market space. In addition the team advises corporations, not-for-profits, and public funds on complex liquidity issues involving both on and off balance sheet products. Mr. Sweatt received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
